Long run roofing Wellington

Long-run corrugated steel roofing costs about $130–$180/m² installed in 2026, and tray or standing seam $170–$230/m², incl. GST 1. Standard 16.5 mm corrugate needs a minimum 8° pitch, while 27 mm trapezoidal can go down to 3° 6. Coatings are chosen by your site's exposure category 3.

Long-run steel is what most Kiwis re-roof with. It's light and quick to put on, and there's a profile for most pitches.

Updated · Reviewed against Solution Roofing, New Zealand Steel, COLORSTEEL® and others

Long-run is sold by the metre, but you'll be quoted per square metre installed, with underlay, flashings and labour included 1. So a materials-only price per metre won't line up against an installed quote.
